The Kentucky Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial School Toolkit
The Lincoln School Toolkit is a set of resources designed to make Abraham Lincoln’s 200th birthday a statewide educational opportunity for students. The toolkits include lesson plans, primary source materials, and a February 12, 2009 activity sheet. All materials are tied to Kentucky standards.
In addition to the resources listed below, each of Kentucky’s K-12 schools will receive a 14-minute educational DVD titled “Lincoln: The Kentucky Years” produced by Kentucky Educational Television (KET). Some grade levels will receive a February 12, 2009 activity sheet, which will also be available to download on this Web site.
These toolkits were produced by the KALBC, the Kentucky Department of Education, KET, the Kentucky Historical Society (KHS), and Georgetown College.
