Lincoln Projects

Year of Lincoln Web site
Centre College, a member of the KALBC inter-collegiate task force, has developed a Web site devoted to Lincoln's connections to Centre College and projects from the College to honor Lincoln during the Bicentennial. This site features original works, including a play, Strike Up the Band: Lincoln Comes Home. To find out more about the play, contact Mike Norris at Centre College.

Lincoln Logs
The Olive Hill Historical Society has started building a log cabin similar to the cabin that Lincoln was born in near Hodgenville in honor of the Lincoln Bicentennial. The volunteer-only organization is looking for more volunteers and other assistance. To see what they've accomplished so far, visit the society's Web site

Filson Historical Society's "Lincoln's Kentucky":
The Filson Historical Society has a section on their Web site titled "Lincoln's Kentucky," which is a digital Bicentennial exhibit exploring Lincoln's connection to the state as well as Lincoln-related material in The Filson Historical Society's collection. It was funded in part by the Kentucky Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission.
