Kentucky's Bicentennial Celebration of Abraham Lincoln

Kentucky Historical Society Grants

The Kentucky Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission and the Kentucky Historical Society are offering community grants for programming that will take place the week of February 12, 2009 to honor the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln.  The Commission hopes these funds will allow communities across the Commonwealth to implement programming that will educate and inform its citizens regarding the legacy of Abraham Lincoln in Kentucky.

The grant application deadline is December 31, 2008 and the grants require a 50/50 cash or in-kind match. Contact Chris Goodlett via email or at the Kentucky Historical Society at 502-564-1792 for more information or assistance.
