Kentucky Historical Society Grants
In commemoration of the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial (2008-2010), the Kentucky Historical Society in partnership with the Kentucky Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission is offering program grants of up to $5000.
These grants may be used by a museum or history organization, a city or county government, or other community organization for a project that helps increase public appreciation and awareness of some aspect of Lincoln in Kentucky history. They may also be used to develop Lincoln-themed exhibits or educational programs for the public or for schools.
The grant application deadlines have passed for FY08 but additional grant deadlines will be posted after July 1, 2008. Please see List of projects that have received grant funding to date for a complete listing of all grants funded through the Kentucky Historical Society in FY2008.
