Hodgenville's town square has undergone major changes in preparation for the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commemoration. A re-opening ceremony was held October 4, 2007.
The 35th annual Lincoln Days Celebration was held October 4-7 in Hodgenville. Governor Ernie Fletcher unveiled the Lincoln license plate and presented a ceremonial checks to the City of Hodgenville and the Lincoln Museum.

This album contains images of the Borglum Lincoln Bust at the University of Kentucky. The much-admired original was done in marble in 1908 by the prominent sculptor, Gutzon Borglum. Borglum would later design and execute the huge sculpture groups at Stone Mountain, Georgia, and Mount Rushmore, South Dakota. This bronze copy of the original was donated to the university in 1969 by the industrialist, book and art collector and philanthropist, Philip D. Sang of River Forest, Illinois.
